Remodel in Parkdale, Oregon focused on improving functionality for the family, opening up the floor plan, expanding the kitchen, and taking advantage of panorama views of Mt Hood off the existing back patio.
To achieve this, interior walls in the main room were removed, as well as the exiting roof. A new roof made of scissor trusses creates a vaulted interior with open floor plan for the kitchen and living room areas. A pantry, mudroom, and water closet provide functionality while also separating the family room a bit for privacy and sound. An expanded entry way and small laundry room have also been added.
